The first MAT five year strategic plan (2010 – 2015) was launched during the 43rd Annual General Meeting in August 2010. Our slogan; “Partner in meeting health Millennium Development Goals”

The Goals of the five year plan are as follows:

1. Institutional building
2. Advocacy and Policy Development
3. Continued Professional Development
4. Knowledge management
5. Patient Safety and Community Health
6. Partnership and Collaboration
7. Promote welfare of members

From this plan annual activity plans will be drawn and implemented depending on priorities identified by the sitting National council and interested partners who will partner with the association to achieve the above set goals. Currently, the 2010 annual workplan is being implemented. A monitoring and evaluation framework is built in the plan to ensure that it is a living document.
